Innisfail Arena Entry Rules - October 17th, 2020

Innisfail Minor Hockey Association would like to remind all teams, players, and spectators of the processes for the arena that need to be adhered to as per the Town of Innisfail guidelines:

* Currently, the arena is still closed to the public. Spectators are those parents or guardians that are coming to watch a player with an IMHA team. At this time, it is only one spectator per player. However, when that limit changes, the below processes must continue to be adhered to

* It is a requirement of each team to ensure that someone is at the entry table doing COVID screening and completing the contact tracing log. If you do not have someone at the table - the arena staff will not be unlocking the doors to the players

* Players AND spectators must sign in

* The doors will be unlocked 15minutes before the ice time - not sooner. If you have a younger player and you need to come back to help them get their skates off, you will have to wait until the doors unlock for the next group - at which time, you can come in to help your player

* Spectators are not to come and go. Should you choose to leave, you will not be permitted back in to watch. If you are coming to watch, please stay and watch. Bring in all necessary item with you, because once you leave, the doors are locked and not re-opened until 15min before the next ice time

* Please pay attention to direction of pedestrian traffic flow - all PLAYERS  enter the dressing room area through the blue ice surface doors and exit through the red ice surface south door

* Blue Ice spectators exit the west door. Spectating is NOT permitted from the bench or viewing glass in the lobby outside of the blue ice surface

* Red Ice spectators exit the red ice south door

* Although masks are not required, they are strongly recommended

* Please remember to maintain proper social distancing both inside the arena and in the parking lot

* Please not prop open any of the exit doors to allow for coming and going

Please note that these processes are put into place to promote a safe area and to adhere to the public health recommendations.  We all want to see a safe and successful season

As per the Player and Parent Codes of Conduct, there is a zero tolerance for bullying or abusive behaviours towards Arena Staff and all IMHA members.

Thank you for your consideration and diligence in adhering to these guidelines.
